Waste bins are conveniently located in the kitchen, all bathrooms and the outdoor pool area.

Please note that, due to local plumbing infrastructure, toilet paper should be placed in the bathroom bins provided rather than flushed down the toilet. This is common practice throughout much of Greece.

There is no need to take household waste outside. All waste bins are collected and emptied daily by our housekeeping team as part of the villa's regular cleaning service.

We simply ask that any loose rubbish, food packaging and personal hygiene items are placed in the bins provided. It is a small gesture of respect for the person who looks after you and Astraea throughout your stay.

No. Astraea is a non-smoking residence, and both smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited in all indoor areas of the property.

This policy helps us maintain a clean, comfortable and healthy environment for all guests, while also protecting the villa's furnishings, fabrics, equipment and indoor air quality.

Guests wishing to smoke or vape may do so only in outdoor areas, while taking appropriate care and observing all fire safety precautions, particularly during the summer months and periods of elevated fire risk.

We kindly ask that cigarette ends, tobacco products and vaping materials are disposed of responsibly and safely.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping preserve the comfort, safety and quality of the Astraea experience for all guests.

Housekeeping is provided daily, except on Sundays, and includes care of the outdoor areas and pool, kitchen tidying, cleaning and sanitising of toilets, and making the beds.

Daily care of the outdoor areas and pool usually begins between 8:00 and 8:30 am.

Indoor housekeeping is ideally scheduled from 10:00 am onwards, always with the guests’ prior agreement and with full respect for their privacy and personal rhythm.

Yes. Bed linen and bathroom towels are changed every three (3) nights as part of Astraea’s housekeeping service.

Yes. Pool towels are provided for guest use throughout the stay.

Astraea is equipped with a washing machine and dryer which, for safety and proper operation, may be used exclusively by trained staff and are not available for guests’ direct use.

For stays of more than five (5) nights, personal washing and drying service is provided. Guests may place the clothes they wish to have laundered in the dedicated laundry bags and arrange collection and return with the staff.

For five (5)-night stays, Astraea’s minimum stay, personal laundry service is not included. Should a genuine need arise, an exception may be arranged in consultation with the Owner & Host. Supplies for hand-washing clothes can also be provided.

Ironing is not included in the laundry service. An iron and garment steamer are available for guests’ personal use.

Υes. Astraea's outdoor BBQ is available for guest use throughout their stay, and the necessary fuel supply is provided by the villa.

Τhe BBQ operates using a gas supply provided and maintained by Astraea.

As with any cooking equipment involving open flames or high temperatures, we kindly ask guests to use the BBQ responsibly and with appropriate care. For safety reasons, its use is recommended only for individuals familiar with outdoor grilling equipment.

Particular caution should be exercised during the summer months, when dry conditions may increase fire risk. The BBQ must not be used during periods of strong winds or whenever local weather conditions make its operation unsafe.

Guests assume full responsibility for the safe operation of the BBQ during use. If in doubt, we encourage guests to contact us before using the equipment.

Astraea is equipped with a backup generator capable of supporting the villa’s full electrical load, together with UPS systems that provide continuity during the transition to backup power.

Absolutely. Astraea provides drinking water through the refrigerator's reverse osmosis water system, as well as complimentary bottled water included in the welcome package.

The villa's water supply is treated through a multi-stage filtration system, including microfiltration and activated carbon filters, and is used throughout the residence for cooking, bathing and everyday household needs.

Upon arrival, guests will find six complimentary bottles of drinking water. Additional bottled water is readily available from nearby supermarkets and local stores.

Guests may therefore choose between bottled water and the refrigerator's purified reverse osmosis drinking water system throughout their stay.

Yes. Astraea has been designed to ensure a reliable supply of hot water in every season.

During the summer months, hot water is primarily provided through solar energy. In winter, the system is supported by both the residence's central heating installation and an electric water heater, providing additional capacity and reliability when needed.

As a result, guests can expect hot water to be readily available throughout their stay, regardless of season or weather conditions.

Yes. Pets are welcome upon prior arrangement. We kindly ask owners to supervise their companions and help us maintain the comfort of all guests.

In most cases, yes. Please contact us in advance if you expect a delivery or require assistance with local services.

Astraea is located in a peaceful residential setting, and we kindly ask guests to respect both neighbouring properties and the tranquil character of the area.

In accordance with local regulations, quiet hours are observed daily between 15:00–17:30 and 23:00–07:00 during the summer season. During the winter season, quiet hours apply between 15:30–17:30 and 22:00–07:30.

We appreciate your consideration in helping preserve the calm and relaxing atmosphere that defines both Astraea and the wider Livadaki area.

The safety of our guests is of utmost importance. Astraea is equipped with a range of fire detection and fire protection systems throughout the property.

Inside the residence, smoke detectors are installed in key areas, while portable fire extinguishers are located near fireplaces, wood-burning stoves, kitchen equipment and other potential heat sources. In addition, automatic fire extinguishers are installed throughout the stairwells for added protection.

Outside the villa, three clearly marked fire safety stations are positioned around the property and are readily accessible if needed.

While these measures are in place, we kindly ask guests to exercise particular care when using fireplaces, the wood stove, cooking equipment and the outdoor BBQ, especially during the summer months when fire risk may be elevated.

Should a fire or emergency situation occur, guests are asked to prioritise personal safety, contact the emergency services - 199 - immediately and notify Astraea as soon as possible- +30 6942 421 441 / Constantinos.

Yes. Astraea provides a first aid kit containing essential supplies for minor injuries and basic first aid needs.

The kit is located in the kitchen area and can be easily identified by its red metal case marked with a white cross.

While suitable for small incidents and immediate assistance, it is not intended to replace professional medical care. Should further medical attention be required, guests are encouraged to contact a local pharmacy, a private physician or the Karystos Hospital, all of which are located within a short driving distance from the villa.

In the event of a medical emergency, guests should immediately contact the appropriate emergency services and notify Astraea as soon as possible.

For safety reasons, guests use the pool and sea kayak entirely at their own responsibility. We kindly ask all guests to exercise appropriate caution and ensure that children are supervised at all times. Safety equipment is provided for kayak use where applicable.

There is no need to clean Astraea before leaving — that is our responsibility.

We simply ask that used towels are placed in the laundry baskets provided, loose rubbish in the appropriate bins, and that lights, air conditioning and appliances you have used are switched off. Before leaving, please make sure all exterior doors are fully closed and secured.

There are no keys to return. Your personal access code will deactivate automatically after your departure.

Should you accidentally leave a personal belonging behind, if found, Astraea will gladly send it to your preferred address at our expense.

Brief visits of a personal nature are welcome, with prior notice to the Owner & Host.

This does not extend to gatherings, celebrations, or the use of Astraea and its facilities by additional groups. Any such arrangement requires the Owner & Host’s prior express approval and must remain within the property’s permitted capacity.

Overnight occupancy is strictly limited to the guests confirmed in the reservation. Any increase in the number of overnight guests requires the Owner & Host’s prior express approval and, where approved, is subject to the applicable additional charge.
