Throughout the villa, layered natural textures, curated furnishings and soft ambient lighting create spaces that feel calm, grounded and deeply connected to their surroundings. Vintage objects, collectedpieces, books, music and handcrafted details all contribute to the emotional identity and character of the house.

The living spaces have been designed around gathering, relaxation and shared everyday moments. Open-plan interiors, panoramic openings and seamless indoor-outdoor flow allow natural light and the surrounding landscape to become part of the living experience itself.

Warm evening atmospheres are shaped by candlelight, soft lighting, cinematic entertainment areas, vinyl listening sessions, the vintage jukebox and quiet moments around the wood stove during the colder months.

Bedrooms combine softness, calmness and openness, featuring layered textiles, carefully selected bedding, ambient lighting and large openings that frame the surrounding sea, hills and sky. The intention is to create spaces that encourage slow mornings, restful sleep and a gentle connection with nature.

Across Astraea, comfortable lounge areas, reading corners, music-focused spaces and dedicated remote working environments allow guests to shape their stay around their own rhythm — whether that means relaxation, creativity, focus or quiet retreat.

Every detail throughout the villa has been intentionally selected not only for its function, but for the atmosphere and sense of living it creates — offering a stay experience that feels warm, personal and authentically lived in.

Outdoor living at Astraea is designed as a natural extension of the interior experience — open, relaxed and deeply connected to the surrounding sea, landscape and rhythm of coastal living.

The outdoor areas unfold across multiple levels and gathering spaces, creating different atmospheres throughout the day, from quiet mornings overlooking the water to long shared evenings around food, music and conversation.

At the heart of the outdoor experience is the large swimming pool and integrated hydromassage area, featuring a cascading waterfall element designed for moments of relaxation and calm. Sun loungers, outdoor seating areas and carefully positioned viewpoints allow guests to fully enjoy the open sea views and surrounding hills from different perspectives throughout the property.

Adjacent to the kitchen and main living areas, the outdoor courtyard functions as a natural social space for gathering and shared meals. A large monastery-style dining table and Weber grilling area create an atmosphere centered around open-air dining, slow evenings and relaxed hospitality.

Smaller outdoor living spaces are thoughtfully distributed throughout Astraea, including the intimate veranda connected to the first-floor living area and the expansive balcony level serving the main bedrooms, both offering panoramic views across the surrounding seascape and landscape.

During the colder months, the interior living experience continues through the cast-iron wood stove located in the ground-floor lounge and the suspended cast-iron fireplace in the main first-floor living space, creating warm and atmospheric gathering areas throughout the villa.

Small gardens and natural decorative landscaping surround Astraea from every direction, softening the architecture and reinforcing the villa’s connection with nature, openness and intentional living.

Every outdoor and transitional space has been designed to encourage gathering, stillness and effortless everyday living within the landscape itself.

Entertainment at Astraea was designed to feel immersive, warm and intentionally integrated into the living experience of the house — centered not around excess, but around atmosphere, gathering and meaningful moments indoors.

Across the villa, music, cinema, cooking, lighting and carefully selected objects shape different moods throughout the day and evening. The intention is to create spaces that encourage guests to slow down, gather naturally and enjoy the rhythm of living within the house itself.

The kitchen forms an important part of the entertainment experience at Astraea. Beyond everyday functionality, the fully integrated culinary space has been designed to support more elevated and demanding cooking experiences, whether preparing relaxed shared breakfasts, slow dinners, wine evenings or more creative culinary moments using the villa’s premium cooking equipment and advanced Miele appliances.

Cinematic entertainment is available throughout the villa via wide smart TVs located across all living areas and main bedrooms, with integrated access to streaming services including Netflix, Disney+, ERTFLIX and Cinobo. Astraea also maintains a carefully selected library of classic and contemporary DVDs, encouraging a more nostalgic and intentional movie experience alongside modern streaming access.

Music similarly plays an essential role in shaping the atmosphere of the house. Vinyl listening sessions, curated CD collections, integrated music streaming services and thoughtfully selected sound systems create different layers of sound and mood throughout the villa. The vintage jukebox and analog music elements further reinforce the warm, collected and nostalgic identity of Astraea.

Books, collected objects, handcrafted details and layered lighting all contribute to a living environment that feels personal, expressive and authentically lived in rather than conventionally staged.

The atmosphere of Astraea continuously changes with light, season and rhythm — from calm mornings filled with natural light and silence, to candlelit evenings shaped by music, conversation and the warmth of the interior spaces.

Whether gathering around the suspended fireplace, watching films, listening to records, preparing shared meals or simply observing the surrounding landscape in stillness, Astraea was designed to create moments that feel emotionally warm, relaxed and deeply connected to intentional everyday living.

.Astraea offers a small collection of thoughtfully selected services and stay enhancements designed to support a more comfortable, flexible and personalized living experience during your time in Karystos.

For guests combining their stay with remote work or longer living periods, Astraea supports a remote work friendly environment through uninterrupted operational infrastructure, including power generator backup systems and UPS-supported work and entertainment areas, allowing for additional reliability and continuity when needed.

Longer stays are equally welcomed, with the villa designed to comfortably support extended living rhythms, slower routines and a more immersive connection with the surrounding landscape and local lifestyle.

Guests are welcomed with a curated local products basket featuring selected regional items and flavors intended to introduce a small part of the local character and atmosphere of the area.

Grocery pre-stocking can also be arranged prior to arrival upon request and coordination during the reservation process, depending on seasonality and local market availability.

For guests interested in exploring the coastline more actively, Astraea also provides access to a single-seat open sea kayak and related equipment. Transportation, usage responsibility and safety management remain entirely under the guest’s discretion and responsibility.

Laundry washing and drying service for personal clothing is also available. For stays shorter than five days, the service is offered with an additional charge, while for stays exceeding five days it is provided complimentary as part of the extended stay experience.

To maintain the atmosphere and comfort of the outdoor living experience, daily pool maintenance and preparation of the exterior spaces are carried out throughout your stay.

Daily housekeeping service for the kitchen and bathroom areas is also provided and can be scheduled in coordination with guests according to their preferred timing and daily rhythm.

Bed linens and bathroom towels are refreshed every four (4) nights as part of the villa’s ongoing comfort and hospitality care. Dedicated pool towels are also provided for outdoor and swimming use throughout your stay.

Whenever possible, early check-in and late check-out flexibility may also be arranged to better support travel schedules and a more relaxed arrival and departure experience.

At Astraea, we believe your holiday should begin the moment you arrive.

Our aim is to make travelling with your little one simpler, lighter and more relaxing by preparing everything in advance, allowing you to leave behind unnecessary luggage and focus on what truly matters: spending quality time together, creating beautiful family memories and enjoying the opportunity to rest.

Thoughtfully Prepared Before Your Arrival

To ensure your baby enjoys the same level of comfort and care as every other guest, we offer a carefully selected collection of premium baby equipment, prepared exclusively upon request before your arrival.

Our available equipment includes:

• Two premium bassinets with gentle rocking function, anatomical mattresses and dedicated baby bedding, suitable for infants up to 9 months of age.

• One premium travel cot featuring a natural coconut-fibre mattress, baby bedding and mosquito net.

• Portable changing station.

• Bottle sterilizer.

• Digital baby monitor with one transmitter and one parent unit, with the option to connect directly to your own mobile device.

Whenever possible, we are also pleased to provide a selection of everyday baby essentials, such as baby wipes and other practical items that help make travelling easier. Should there be anything specific your baby requires, we will always do our very best to have it available before your arrival.

Because hygiene is especially important for our youngest guests, all baby bedding is laundered separately using certified baby detergents and without the use of fabric softeners, ensuring a clean, gentle and carefully prepared sleeping environment.

Surrounded by the sea and nature, Astraea offers the ideal setting for peaceful walks, outdoor exploration and quiet moments shared with your four-legged companion. Our philosophy is simple: when your pet feels relaxed, you can truly relax too.

Thoughtfully Prepared for Your Companion

To help your pet feel at home from the very first moment, Astraea provides:

• Two comfortable dog beds, suitable for medium-sized dogs.

• Food and water bowls.

While we do not provide pet food, we will be happy to recommend nearby pet shops and supermarkets where supplies can be purchased. As product availability may vary, we recommend bringing your pet's preferred food with you, particularly if they follow a specific diet or have favourite brands.

For additional peace of mind, Astraea also recommends the local veterinarian whom we personally trust with the care of our own pets. You will find the veterinarian's business card and contact details inside the villa, together with information about nearby pet-related services, should you need any assistance during your stay.

If your companion has any particular habits or special requirements, simply let us know before your arrival and we will always do our very best to prepare accordingly.

Sharing Astraea Responsibly

Astraea is designed to offer tranquillity for both our guests and the surrounding community. We therefore kindly ask every pet owner to help us preserve this peaceful environment.

During walks outside the property, dogs must always be kept on a leash, in accordance with local regulations and out of respect for neighbouring properties, other visitors and public spaces, particularly beaches and walking paths.

We also ask owners to carry waste bags during every walk and to dispose of pet waste responsibly. Carrying a small bottle of water to rinse areas where your dog urinates is a simple but thoughtful gesture that helps keep public spaces clean and pleasant for everyone.

If your companion tends to bark frequently, we kindly ask that you remain mindful of the local quiet hours, helping preserve the peaceful atmosphere that defines Astraea.

Pets are welcome around the swimming pool but should always be supervised for their own safety and to maintain the cleanliness of the water.

Finally, we ask owners to help protect the villa itself. If your dog or cat has a habit of scratching furniture, chewing objects or causing damage indoors or outdoors, please take the appropriate precautions so that Astraea remains as welcoming for future guests as it is for you today.
